What is the warranty? Do you provide technical support?
The CM comes with a 3 year bumper to bumper warranty for residential use, and a 1 year bumper to bumper warranty for commercial use. This warranty covers components, plumbing, electrical, labor, and shipping.
5 year extended warranties are available (lifetime protection program) for homes and businesses who follow maintenance schedules.
Live video call technical support is available Monday – Friday 9 am to 5 pm PST.
On-site technical support is available for both residential and commercial clients.
BlueCubes have large compartment areas that can be serviced by plumbers and pool and spa techs.
Do you provide an extended warranty?
Yes. We provide a 5 year extended warrany for both residential and commercial clients. This entails adhereing to maintenance requirements—deep cleaning using biomaintain, cleaning the chiller, regular water and filter changes, and logging in these routines into your online BlueCube portal.

Can I place the BlueCube indoors or outdoors?
Yes, the CM can be placed indoors or outdoors. The frames are weatherproof.
We do advise placing the cold plunge in the shade. They do come with insulative spa covers and can be placed in the sun if necessary.
What are the dimensions? Are there clearance requirements?

The advantage of the CM is that the tub frame has no clearance requirements. You only need to be mindful of the unions and plumbing connection to the modbox. You can plumb the tub frame through a wall to the modbox on the other side.
The modular box does have 18″ clearance requirements for the vents.

How easy is setup and how long does installation take?
CM Modular systems come fully assembled . However, plumbing between the modular box and the tub must be done by a plumber, GC, or the customer. Connective plumbing between the modular box and tub is not included in the order. It takes 10-15 minutes to fill the tub depending on your water pressure.
How quickly will I receive my cold plunge after ordering?
BlueCube orders are booked out months in advance. Please call sales or email sales@bluecubebaths.com to determine lead times.
How is the BlueCube cold plunge delivered and what does delivery include?
The BlueCube arrives in a palletized crate, dropped off curbside. It comes fully assembled.
In order to unpack the BlueCube in a timely manner, you / your team will need screw guns. You can use a screw driver as well, it will just take longer.
We recommend four movers with moving dollies. The CM is 29″ in height and can be tilted on its side to pass through interior doors and narrow hallways.
Can I use the BlueCube during winter? Can I use the cold plunge outdoors year-round?
Yes. BlueCube cold plunges are weatherproof and designed for indoor or outdoor use. Below 20°F ambient air temperature outside we recommend winterizing your BlueCube. We do offer freeze protection packages for extreme winter environments.
What are the electrical and plumbing requirements? Do I need any special electrical outlet or plumbing to operate it?
The CM requires a 110 / 120 V 20 amp dedicated circuit unless otherwise specified by the project. It comes with a GFCI plug that has one sideways prong. It looks like a winky face ;). Here is a photo of the plug. Make sure the outlet is large enough to fit this.
How cold can the water get, and can the tub heat water too?
The CM chills down to approximately 37°F and is designed for cold therapy.
There are no heating elements in standard BlueCubes. Spa heaters are available for an additional fee. Contact sales for details.
Our reccomendation is to have a dedicated cold plunge and a dedicated hot tub given how long it takes to heat and chill the water. It becomes impractical to wait several hours / an entire day to make a cold plunge into a hot tub and vice versa.
Do I need to add ice, or does the system chill the water on its own?
No ice is required. An integrated commercial-grade chiller maintains water temperature.
How is the cold plunge kept clean? Do I need to add any chemicals for water treatment?
20-micron filtration and ozone sanitation keep water clean. Water is typically changed every 4 weeks for residential use. For commercial use, it is based on bather loads / number of cold plunges per day. At 50 cold plunges + per day we recommend changing the water daily.
No chemicals are required. For commerical compliance, we can add chlorine drip systems on C3. For residential use, chlorine is not necessary and we advise against it.
How often should I change the filter?
For residential clients, we recommend changing the filter once per month.
For commercial clients, filter changes will be based on bather load / number of cold plunges per day. At 50 cold plunges per day, we reccomend washing / replacing filters daily.
Filters can be washed and reused 2-3 times (even more) prior to discarded.
We recommend using an Aqua Comb to clean your filters.

Soak the filters in a bucket of 1:1 vinegar and water solution overnight. Power wash again and then place it back into the recommend.
Do you offer automated chlorine drip systems?
An automated chlorine drip system is available for the CM. It is not part of CM standard builds.
Does the BlueCube come with a skimmer?
The CM does not come with a skimmer in the standard build. Depending on scope of the build, this may or may not be available.
Can I add Epsom salt or essential oils to my cold plunge tub?
We advise against Epsom salt and essential oils to ensure longevity of the cold plunge.
Other companies may support this. This leads to excessive wear and tear of components.
How can I buy maintenance supplies or replacement filters?
You can buy maintenance supplies directly from us, Amazon, Spa Depot, and other online retailers.
If you sign up for our extended warranty, you will get supplies automatically shipped to your home or business.
Can I customize my BlueCube? What customization options do I have?
Yes, you can customize your CM cold plunge with an engraved logo of your choosing. You can also select a custom color of your choosing. We match colors through pantones or through a physical sample that you send us.
How does your cold plunge handle the thermal barrier?
The CM not only has robust constant circulation like other BlueCube models, but has two additional gears of hydro-agitation, including River Mode™. This provides the full weight rack of cold therapy—titrate your experience across temperature and flow rate.
How many gallons per minute does the water circulate?
Constant circulation is at 18 GPM or 1080 GPH.
The entire tub is filtered and ozonated at 10 times per hour, or every 6 minutes.
River Mode adds an additional 21 GPM, or 1260 GPH, to the experience.

What happens if a part stops working?
All BlueCube cold plunge components are replaceable. If you are in warranty, we ship out the necessary parts and send a technician to get you cold plunging as soon as possible. If you are out of warranty, we still got your back and can arrange the necessary parts and help that you need.
How loud is the cold plunge during operation?
The CM is less than 60 decibels. Our Japanese magnetic-drive pumps are near silent. The chiller fan is on only during chilling, and turns off when it reaches temperature.
What if I’m not satisfied – can I return the tub?
The CM comes with a 30 day money back guarantee, net restocking fees of 25%.
